Before joining Zamzow Fabian, Pavol worked as a judicial law clerk and in the Public Defender's office — experience on both sides of the bench that gives him a direct understanding of how cases are evaluated from the inside.
That background informs how he approaches every stage of a case: what motions are worth filing, how evidence will be received, and where the prosecution's theory is most vulnerable.
Pavol has extensive experience defending against felony charges, life offenses, misdemeanors, and federal crimes in both state and federal courts — including the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
He is thorough in trial preparation, experienced in suppression and dispositive motion practice, and skilled in the negotiation of pleas and sentencing outcomes.
